Evi Vingerling received her BFA from the Koninglijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten, The Hague in 2002 and was a resident at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam from 2005-2006. In 2006 she was awarded the Brongers prize and in 2008 she was nominated for the Wolvecamp prize. Recent exhibitions have included ‘And more to Come’ at Ellen de Bruijne Projects in Amsterdam, ‘Parts’ in Xiamin, China, ‘Seven Young Painters’ at Bowie van Valen’, Amsterdam, and l’Exposition Continué, at Circuit in Lausanne. She is represented by Ellen de Bruijne Projects and lives and works in Amsterdam and New York.
